Senior Interior Designer - Hospitality

Location: Madrid, Spain

We are an internationally recognised design studio currently expanding our Madrid office. As part of this exciting growth phase, we are seeking a highly talented Senior Interior Designer with proven hospitality design experience to join a dynamic and multicultural team.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead high-end, concept-driven hospitality projects within a globally connected studio. The successful candidate will contribute creatively and strategically across projects, while also supporting and mentoring emerging talent.

The Role

As a Senior Interior Designer, you will lead projects from concept through to completion, acting as a key point of contact for clients and internal teams. You will combine creative vision, technical expertise and project leadership to deliver exceptional, detail-driven design solutions aligned with luxury hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client consultations to understand project vision, functional requirements and aesthetic direction.
• Develop and present conceptual design proposals, including space planning, mood boards and design narratives.
• Produce and oversee design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, sections and detailed drawing packages.
• Direct material and FF&E selection, ensuring alignment with the design concept, quality expectations and project budget.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers and contractors to support seamless project delivery.
• Manage projects from initial concept through to completion, overseeing timelines, budgets and design quality.
• Balance design excellence, functionality and user experience throughout each project stage.
• Deliver compelling client presentations that clearly communicate design intent and value.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and safeguard design integrity.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers and multidisciplinary teams across international offices.
• Mentor and support junior designers, contributing to a collaborative and growth-oriented working environment.
• Stay informed on relevant design trends, materials and innovations, incorporating them into project work where appropriate.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years' proven experience in hospitality interior design.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating high-end, concept-led hospitality projects.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp and/or Rhino.
• Experience with Revit/BIM and rendering tools will be highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, FF&E specifications and technical detailing.
• A refined understanding of luxury design, with particular sensitivity to detail, craftsmanship and spatial experience.
• Previous experience working within international and multidisciplinary environments.
• Candidates must have the legal right to work in Spain.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
