The role would suit someone who is passionate about luxury hospitality, enjoys working within a collaborative international studio environment and can confidently translate an initial design narrative into a refined, buildable interior.

  • Select and specify high-quality furniture, lighting, finishes, materials, sanitaryware, decorative accessories and bespoke design elements
  • Support the development of FF&E packages, including furniture plans, specifications, schedules, material boards and supplier information
  • Work closely with external consultants, architects, lighting designers, operators, contractors, suppliers and specialist fabricators

  • Ensure design intent, quality and project standards are maintained throughout each stage of the project
  • Attend internal design reviews, client meetings and presentations as required
  • Present design ideas and technical information clearly and professionally to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Support more junior designers through guidance, review and day-to-day mentoring
  • Manage assigned design packages, deadlines and priorities effectively across multiple live projects
  • Assist with project coordination, material research, supplier liaison, sample reviews and design-quality control
  • Contribute to the studio's design culture through curiosity, collaboration, strong visual awareness and a genuine interest in global hospitality trends

Candidate profile

  • Degree-qualified in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or a closely related discipline
  • Approximately 5-8+ years' professional interior-design experience within a reputable design studio
  • Proven experience working on high-end hospitality projects, ideally including luxury hotels, resorts, spas, restaurants, bars or destination-led leisure projects
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong concept design, spatial planning, materiality, FF&E selection, detailing and project-delivery capability
  • A refined design aesthetic with a strong understanding of luxury, guest experience, storytelling, local context and brand-led hospitality design
  • Confident producing work across concept, schematic design, design development and technical coordination stages
  • Strong FF&E knowledge, including furniture, decorative lighting, finishes, fabrics, accessories, bespoke elements and supplier research
  • Experience producing technical drawing packages and coordinating information with project consultants
  • Comfortable working on several projects concurrently within a deadline-driven studio environment
  • Strong organisation, communication and presentation skills
  • Collaborative, proactive and able to take ownership of workstreams while contributing positively to a wider team
  • Confident communicating with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and senior internal stakeholders
  • International project exposure would be advantageous
