Lead Designer - Casino Projects
Location: Los Angeles, California
A globally recognised design studio is seeking a highly experienced Lead Designer to join its LA team, with a strong focus on large-scale casino and integrated resort projects. This is a senior-level opportunity suited to an Associate, Principal, or exceptional Design Director with a proven background in high-end hospitality environments.
This role requires a confident and creative design leader who can drive projects from concept through to delivery, while managing client relationships and leading internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design direction on high-profile casino and integrated resort projects from concept through completion
- Develop innovative and compelling design concepts rooted in storytelling, guest experience, and brand identity
- Present design ideas clearly and confidently to clients and stakeholders
- Oversee and mentor project teams, ensuring design excellence across all stages
- Collaborate with FF&E, architecture, and technical teams to deliver cohesive design outcomes
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest design standards
Requirements
- 10-15+ years of experience in hospitality interior design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating casino, gaming, or integrated resort experience (highly preferred). Luxury hotel experience will also be considered
- Proven experience leading large-scale, complex projects and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong conceptual design ability with a high level of detail and execution
- Excellent presentation and client-facing skills
- Experience working with international hospitality brands and operators
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp/Rhino)

- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States
- Candidates MUST show prior Casino or extensive luxury hotel design project experience
