Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Interior Designer to join our team. As an Interior Designer, you will play a key role in conceptualizing, designing, and delivering exceptional interior spaces for our luxury hospitality and high-end residential projects. You will collaborate closely with clients, architects, and other team members to ensure that our designs meet and exceed the expectations of our discerning clientele.
Responsibilities:
Develop creative and innovative design concepts for luxury hospitality interior design and high-end residential projects, aligned with the client's vision, budget, and timeline.
Produce detailed and accurate 2D/3D renderings, floor plans, elevations, and construction drawings using industry-standard software.
Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project requirements, understand spatial constraints, and gather necessary information.
Create comprehensive material and finishes palettes, selecting high-quality materials, furnishings, lighting fixtures, and accessories that align with the project's aesthetic and budgetary considerations.
Collaborate with the design team to develop detailed FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) specifications, ensuring they are accurate, functional, and align with project requirements.
Prepare compelling visual presentations, including mood boards, concept boards, and sample boards, to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
Maintain a keen awareness of current design trends, materials, and industry innovations, ensuring that our designs remain cutting-edge and aligned with the studio's design philosophy.
Coordinate and collaborate with external vendors, suppliers, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
Assist in managing project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering their professional growth.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Interior Designer, with a strong focus on luxury hospitality interior design and high-end residential projects.
Proven track record of successfully delivering projects from concept to completion, with a portfolio showcasing your design expertise and attention to detail.
Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furnishings, lighting, and other elements essential to luxury interior design.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and external stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual presentations.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and standards in the UAE will be an added advantage.
Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Arabic or other languages spoken in the region is highly desirable.
