3D Visualiser / Designer
Please note:
Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong luxury hotel project experience within their portfolio. This is an essential requirement for the role, and applications should include high-quality examples of hotel interiors, including guest rooms, suites, public areas, restaurants, bars, spas, wellness spaces and/or resort environments. Portfolios should clearly show the candidate's contribution to the visualisation and design process.
As a 3D Visualiser / Designer within an interior design studio, you will collaborate closely with interior designers, architects and project teams to bring luxury hospitality concepts to life through high-quality visual storytelling.
You will be responsible for translating design direction, materials, spatial concepts and project briefs into compelling, accurate and atmospheric visualisations. The role requires both strong technical capability and a refined design eye, with the ability to create imagery that communicates the quality, mood and experience of luxury hotel environments.
You will support projects from early concept stages through to detailed design presentations, ensuring all visual output accurately reflects the brief, design intent, brand standards and agreed programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with interior design and architectural teams to plan, develop and visualise luxury hotel and hospitality interiors.
- Produce high-quality static visualisations, CGI imagery, rendered perspectives, animations and presentation material for client reviews and design development.
- Translate concepts, sketches, mood boards, FF&E selections, finishes, lighting intent and spatial plans into sophisticated and accurate visual output.
- Create visualisations for a range of luxury hospitality spaces, including hotel lobbies, guest rooms, suites, restaurants, bars, lounges, spas, wellness facilities, amenity areas and resort environments.
- Ensure design ideas are represented accurately, attractively and in line with the intended atmosphere, materiality, scale and operational requirements of each project.
- Support design teams with space-planning studies, test fits, massing, modelling and visual exploration during concept and schematic design stages.
- Present and explain visual concepts to colleagues, senior designers and, where required, clients.
- Assist in making informed design and planning decisions by producing clear visual studies and alternative design options.
- Develop and maintain 3D models, ensuring they are accurate, well organised and suitable for rendering, coordination and future design development.
- Work to agreed project briefs, visual standards, quality expectations and programme deadlines.
- Coordinate with the wider project team to ensure visual output aligns with architectural drawings, interior design information and consultant input.
- Contribute creatively to the development of design concepts, while responding constructively to feedback and design revisions.
- Keep current with relevant visualisation software, rendering techniques, AI tools, materials libraries and industry developments.
Background and Skills
- A relevant degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Visualisation or a related creative discipline.
- A portfolio demonstrating luxury hotel or high-end hospitality project work is essential. Candidates without clear examples of hotel-focused visualisation and design work will not be considered.
- Ideally 3-5 years' professional experience as a 3D Visualiser, CGI Artist, Interior Designer or similar role within an interior design, architecture or hospitality design environment.
- Strong experience creating photorealistic interior visualisations, particularly for premium hotel, resort and hospitality settings.
- Proficiency in 3ds Max, SketchUp and Revit, with strong CAD and 3D modelling capability.
- Experience using rendering and post-production software, such as V-Ray, Corona Renderer, Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion, Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite, would be highly advantageous.
- Strong technical understanding of interior space, proportion, lighting, materials, furniture, detailing and construction logic.
- Excellent spatial awareness, perspective drawing ability and a strong eye for composition, scale, texture, colour and ambience.
- The ability to interpret and accurately follow design briefs, drawings, reference imagery and brand requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, flexible and solutions-focused approach, comfortable working within a fast-paced and collaborative studio environment.
- Clear communication skills and the confidence to present visual ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
