Business Development Director - Hospitality Design (USA, Remote)

I am excited to be working with a global leader in interior/architecture and design. My client is expanding its presence in the hospitality sector and seeks a dynamic Business Development Director to drive growth across all US studios.

Key Requirements:

• Proven track record in business development management specifically within the hotel interior design sector.
• Existing, robust relationships with the majority of luxury hotel brands and operators across the USA-and ideally, worldwide.
• Deep understanding of the hospitality market, with the ability to identify and secure new business opportunities in luxury hotel interiors.
• Strong network within the hospitality industry, capable of leveraging connections to generate leads and win projects.
• Ability to work remotely from any location in the USA, with frequent travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and networking.

Role Overview:

• Lead the pursuit of new business opportunities in the hospitality design sector, focusing on luxury hotel clients.
• Act as the primary ambassador for the studio's hospitality design services, representing the brand at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
• Collaborate closely with design and leadership teams to tailor proposals and presentations that resonate with luxury hotel clients.
• Maintain and grow a pipeline of high-value opportunities, ensuring the firm's presence among top-tier hotel operators and brands.

Ideal Candidate:

• 10+ years' experience in business development within the hotel interior design sector.
• Demonstrated success in securing projects with luxury hotel groups and operators.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a passion for hospitality design and a proven ability to deliver results in a competitive market.
