About the role

We are seeking a highly creative Senior Interior Designer to join an international hospitality design studio working across Europe, Asia and the USA. This role will focus on crafting distinctive, experience-led interiors for hotels, F&B and lifestyle projects, and co-leading projects alongside a Project Manager.

The position is open to candidates based in Asia, Dubai and Europe. For Asia and Europe, the role will be structured on a freelance/consultancy basis, while candidates in Dubai may join on an office-based arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strong, concept-driven interior design schemes for hospitality projects, from early concept through to detail design.
• Work closely with renderers/visualisers to translate design intent into high-quality 3D imagery and presentation material.
• Prepare and oversee interior design documentation including plans, elevations, sections, ID details and material/finishes schedules.
• Co-lead 1-2 projects at a time in partnership with a Project Manager, taking responsibility for the creative direction, design quality and delivery standards.
• Coordinate with internal team members (designers, FF&E, visualisers) and external consultants to ensure design intent is maintained through all stages.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations, clearly communicating design ideas and responding to feedback.
• Contribute to and uphold studio design standards, storytelling, and brand values across all work.

Candidate profile

• 7-10+ years' experience in interior design, with a strong emphasis on hospitality (hotels, resorts, F&B, lifestyle).
• Proven experience as a Senior Designer or strong Midweight ready to step up, with a portfolio demonstrating concept creation, detailed interior design and beautifully crafted spaces.
• Confident working from concept through to detail: space planning, mood and material palettes, joinery and ID details, and coordination with technical teams.
• Strong collaboration skills with renderers/visualisers; able to brief and guide imagery to clearly express design intent.
• Comfortable co-leading projects with a Project Manager - including ownership of design decisions, managing deadlines and supporting junior designers.
• Proficient in core design tools (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit/other BIM or 3D tools, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite); hand sketching ability is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent in English; able to work effectively with international teams and clients across time zones.

Working arrangement

• Asia / Europe: Freelance/consultancy basis, remote working.Ability to structure and issue invoices as an independent contractor.
• Dubai: Office-based role within the Dubai studio. Hybrid working pattern may be considered depending on project needs.
