The Regional IT Manager will lead and oversee all information technology operations across the offices in Bangkok, Singapore, Shanghai, Dubai, and London. This role ensures that IT systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital collaboration tools are consistently reliable, secure, and aligned with the firm's operational and creative needs.
Thesuccessfulcandidatewillcombinehands-ontechnicalexpertisewithstrategicoversight,managingbothin-housesystemsandexternalvendorstodeliverseamlessITsupportacrossregions.
KeyResponsibilities
RegionalITStrategy&Governance
- DevelopandimplementaunifiedITstrategysupportingbusinessobjectivesanddigitalcollaborationacrossstudios.
- Standardise IT policies, processes, and systems to ensure consistency in security, compliance, and user experience.
- Regularly assess technology gaps and propose improvements to enhance operational efficiency and digital workflow.
- PartnerwithleadershiponITplanningfornewstudios,expansions,orsystemupgrades.
Infrastructure&SystemsManagement
- Oversee regional infrastructure , including servers, network connectivity, storage, and backup systems.
- EnsurestableandsecureVPNconnectionsbetweenstudiosandremoteteams.
- ManageGoogle/Cloudplatforms(Microsoft365,Zoho,Azure,Adobe,etc.)andensurelicensecompliance.
- Supportspecializeddesignsoftware(AutoCAD,Revit,AdobeCC,SketchUp,Enscape,etc.)toensurecompatibilityandperformance.
- Leadhardwareandsoftwareprocurement,deployment,andlifecyclemanagementacrossregions.
Cybersecurity&Compliance
- Establishandmaintaincybersecurityframeworksacrossallstudios.
- Monitorsystemsforvulnerabilities,databreaches,andunauthorizedaccess.
- Ensurecompliancewithrelevantdataprotectionregulations(PDPA,GDPR,etc.).
- ConductregularstaffawarenesssessionsonITsecuritybestpractices.
ITSupport&ServiceDelivery
- ManageregionalITsupport,ensuringtimelyandeffectiveresolutionofuserissues.
- SuperviselocalITrepresentativesorthird-partyvendorsineachstudio.
- DevelopandmaintainITserviceSLAsandreportingmetricsforresponseandresolutiontimes.
- Buildastrong"user-first"culturewithinITservicedelivery.
Vendor&ContractManagement
- OverseeallregionalITvendors,includingmanagedserviceproviders,hardwaresuppliers,andsoftwarepartners.
- Negotiatecontractsandmonitorperformancetoensurevalue,quality,andreliability.
- Coordinateannualrenewalsforsoftwaresubscriptions,securitysystems,andmaintenancecontracts.
Budgeting&CostControl
- PrepareandmanagetheannualregionalITbudget,includinghardware,software,andserviceexpenditures.
- Trackspending,identifycost-savingopportunities,andensureefficientuseofresources.
- SupportfinanceandoperationsteamswithaccurateforecastsforIT-relatedcosts.
Qualifications&Experience
- Bachelor'sdegreeinInformationTechnology,ComputerScience,orarelateddiscipline.
- 8-12yearsofprogressiveexperienceinITmanagement,withatleast3yearsinaregionalormulti-countrycapacity.
- Strongbackgroundin:
- Networkadministration(LAN/WAN,VPN,firewall,Wi-Fisystems)
- Cloudandservermanagement(Microsoft365,Azure,NAS)
- Cybersecuritysystemsandprotocols
- Backupanddisasterrecoveryplanning
- ProventrackrecordmanagingremoteteamsorexternalITserviceprovidersacrossmultiplecountries.
- Experiencesupportingcreative,architectural,ordesignenvironmentsisanadvantage.
- Excellentcommunication,problem-solving,andprojectmanagementskills.
- FluentinEnglish(bothwrittenandspoken).
