Job Title: IT Manager
Location: Singapore
Role Summary
We are seeking a hands-on IT Manager who can operate as a strong individual contributor while managing regional IT operations. This role will be responsible for end-user support, infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, vendor management, and IT governance. The ideal candidate is comfortable being a "one-man show" in a lean setup, while coordinating with regional/global stakeholders and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for all IT matters across offices (end-user support, helpdesk, infrastructure, systems, cloud).
- Provide hands-on support for:
- Laptops, desktops, networks, printers, servers, and telecom equipment
- Windows & Mac environments
- Office365, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure), and virtual machines
- Manage IT infrastructure performance, availability, and security (endpoint protection, cybersecurity controls, DR planning).
- Lead and manage IT vendors: contracts, renewals, procurement of hardware, software, licenses, and services.
- Own IT budget planning and cost control.
- Support ERP / business applications in collaboration with external vendors.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives and continuous improvement of IT processes.
- Establish and maintain IT policies, SOPs, documentation, SLAs/OLAs, and governance frameworks.
- Coordinate IT audits (internal and external), risk management, and compliance activities.
- Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, office setups, and infrastructure improvements.
- Manage IT asset lifecycle: procurement, inventory, refresh cycles, and disposal.
- Conduct disaster recovery (DR) planning and annual DR testing.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to understand business needs and propose IT solutions to support business objectives.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in IT operations / IT management, preferably in a regional or multi-office environment.
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- End-user support & IT infrastructure
- Windows & Mac OS environments
- Cloud services (Office365, Azure or similar)
- Network, cybersecurity, and endpoint protection
- Proven experience working independently in lean IT setups (solo IT / one-man IT function).
- Experience managing vendors, contracts, procurement, and IT budgets.
- Good understanding of IT governance, audits, DR, and security best practices.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (able to work with CEO, Directors, and business leaders).
- Comfortable supporting business applications (ERP, internal systems) with external vendors.
