BIM Architect- Hospitality Design

About the Role
A distinguished boutique interior design studio, renowned for its luxury hospitality projects, is seeking a skilled BIM Specialist to join its creative team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile hotels, restaurants, and public spaces, driving the integration of advanced BIM workflows and digital coordination across all project phases. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with deep expertise in BIM and a passion for innovative design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and management of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes across multiple hospitality projects.
- Develop, maintain, and optimise BIM models throughout all design and construction stages, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project standards.
- Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, engineers, and consultants to facilitate seamless coordination and resolve design or technical issues.
- Prepare and manage BIM documentation, including clash detection reports, schedules, and data extractions.
- Ensure all BIM deliverables comply with local and international codes, industry best practices, and client requirements.
- Provide technical support and BIM training to team members, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
- Integrate BIM with other design and visualisation tools for enhanced project delivery and presentation.
- Stay up to date with the latest BIM technologies, tools, and industry trends to drive innovation within the studio.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a BIM Specialist or BIM Coordinator in the architecture or interior design industry, with a portfolio of hospitality projects preferred.
- Expert proficiency in Revit is mandatory. Experience with other BIM software (Navisworks, Dynamo, etc.) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards, workflows, and interoperability.
- Experience in clash detection, model coordination, and data management within BIM environments.
- Familiarity with UAE building codes and hospitality design standards is a plus.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for digital innovation in design.
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive monthly salary for BIM Specialists in Dubai, typically ranging from AED 10,000 to AED 16000, depending on experience.
